The blog showcases locally grown food from northern California. Northern California is the nation's leading producer of several foods. The winter harvest is underway now! Each month will feature a food grown locally. Cooking with food that is grown in your region is also known as eating seasonally. Farmers in northern Californian harvest fruits and vegetables each month of the year so we can enjoy eating the foods that are grown locally all year.  Every month I will select produce that is in season and feature the selection with photographs.
